BBS-BLTS.TXT - Last updated: 10-Aug-95

It is suggested that you make the following information available to your
callers via a standard public bulletin. We recommend that they be available
from a "BULLETINS" menu selection (as opposed to posting them as "messages"
in your message areas). We also recommend that you include the text
contained in the file SHAREW.TXT so that your callers can have a full
understanding of shareware.

You should NOT have any messages or bulletins stating "Please don't upload
any copyrighted software" or having any similar mis-conceptions of
shareware. Shareware *IS* copyrighted software that is freely distributable
with the author's specific expressed permission.

If you wish to use this text "as is" please edit out this portion, and use
only the portion below the dashed line.

Much of the software available for downloading from this BBS is shareware.
These systems require a payment to the author if found useful.

Some shareware systems are produced by members of the Association of
Shareware Professionals (ASP). The authors of these systems have promised
to meet the association's standard of program quality and customer support.

ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle works for you. If you
are unable to resolve a shareware related problem with an ASP member by
contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to help. The ASP Ombudsman
can help you resolve a dispute or problem with an ASP member, but does not
provide technical support for members' products. Please write to the ASP
Ombudsman at 545 Grover Road, Muskegon, MI USA 49442-9427, FAX
616-788-2765, or send a Compuserve mail message to ASP Ombudsman 70007,3536

Those systems that are produced by ASP members are identified in the file
listings of this BBS by the symbol <ASP> (substitute as necessary).
