The enclosed DR0498 disk contains documentation related to version 2.2
of the Microsoft MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions Program (MSCDEX) and to the
development of a hardware-dependent device driver for a CD-ROM player.
The files have been compressed into an executable file, INFOPACK.EXE.
To use the compressed text files and the utility programs they refer
to, you must extract the files by doing the following:

1. Create a new directory on your hard disk (for example, INFOPACK).

2. Place the enclosed DR0498 disk in your floppy disk drive, and copy
the file INFOPACK.EXE from the floppy disk to the directory you
just created on your hard disk.

3. Change to that directory, and from the command prompt, type the
   following:

      infopack
