Installing HDMS...

If you are useing winzip then open the HDMS.zip file and double click
on the install.exe file. Read the intro and then tell HDMS what drive
you want to copy the files to.

After the install program is complete HDMS will search your
local hard drive for *.ICN, *.PCX, *.ICN & *.PAD files that HDMS will
use. When asked if you want to rename the files now chose NO.

That's it.

Some problems that I have had with the install:
Some people will not see the Icons in the windows desktop that is used
start the HDMS program from windows if you wish to change the icons please
tell windows to look for the default *.ICN files in C:\HDMS or in the
drive that HDMS was installed to. By default windows will try to find
the icons in D:\HDMS I am not sure how to fix this. If any of your users
have any idea then please let me know.

This is a shareware version of HDMS and has no handycaps. The only limitations
from the retail version is Users are not allowed to save a coverted ICN or PCX file.

this copy of HDMS is freely distributable
