			   NetFor2
			 Version 1.0
		      (For Windows 95/98/NT)

NetFor2, a simple solution to Internet networking

NetFor2 enables two computers to share the same telephone line and the
same Internet connection without the need for a computer network. In other
words, you don't have to install or add any new hardware to your computers.
The 230 KB NetFor2 program and a serial cable is all you need to connect
your two computers to the Internet and pay just one telephone bill, one ISP
subscription fee and no concurrent hours cost.

		How does NetFor2 work

Say you have two computers in your home PC1 and PC2. NetFor2
software will be installed in the computer that connects to the Internet
through its modem (PC1). PC2 is not required to have a modem
however, both computers must have one serial port available. The two
serial ports will be connected through a serial cable (up to 100 feet long).
In the PC2, you create a new Dial-Up Networking icon called NetFor2
and set the serial port parameters. When you run NetFor2, PC1 connects
to your Internet provider. Once the connection is made, click on the NetFor2
Dial-Up icon in PC2 and follow the normal connection procedure. Now
you can run your Internet programs in both PC1 and PC2.

			What it can do

NetFor2 supports software programs you usually run on the Internet.
You can browse, send and receive e-mail, download files, play games,
chat, etc. It works with all browsers that understand TCP/IP. Both Internet
Explorer and Netscape are supported. NetFor2 was also successfully
tested on high speed connections .

			What it cannot do

NetFor2 cannot connect to AOL when AOL connecting software is utilized.
This is because AOL does not use TCP/IP. However, you can still connect to
AOL using TCP/IP and access aol.com. or my.aol.com. If you have an AOL
account you can sign-in and get access to your AOL screen.

NetFor2 1.0 is a Beta evaluation version. Please note that NetFor2 does
not change your Internet settings or programs, it doesn't access your Windows
registry and does not replace or add any DLL's to your system. It does not
require any installation and if you want to get rid of it simply delete NetFor2.exe.
I would greately appreciate any feedback and I'll try to help you fix any problem
that you might have runing this program.
