I. General-
App Runner is a program that opens documents, programs, and Internet resources. It was designed to be a replacement for the 'Run' program in the Windows Start Menu. This program is freeware and you may distribute it as you see fit, as long as the files included with this program are distributed with it and credits are kept intact. NO WARRANTY of any kind is included for use of this product. I am not responsible for what happens when this product is used.

II. Changes
* Ability to add Run history to your history
* A few minor bug fixes
* Fixed MRU bug
* Can now edit App Runner History
* Added "Open Last Item" to system tray menu

III. System Requirements-
	Intel i386 CPU or higher
	8 Megabytes or RAM
	Windows 95 or 98
	MFC 4.2 Dlls

IV. Installation-
Download and unzip the file to anywhere on your hard drive. It is not recommended to put the MFC dlls in your system directory unless you know exactly what you are doing. This could result in overwriting newer files, which may cause other programs to not function correctly. Please keep in mind that I am working on an installation program to ease the setup process.

V. Uninstallation-
Simply remove the file from your hard drive. (Later you will be able to use the uninstallation program)

VI. Running-
Double-click on App Runner.exe in Explorer.

VII. Path Editor-
The path editor included with App Runner is used to edit your computer's path. Here you can add, edit, or remove files from your path without digging around in the registry. The path editor takes care of all the dirty work for you. For example, adding 'C:\Windows\write.exe' to your path would allow you to execute this program by only typing 'write'. This also applies to other types of documents as well.

VIII. App Runner History Editor
This is allows you to edit your App Runner history through a simple dialog box. This can allow you to remove certain entries from the history list. It can be useful if you don't want other people to see things you have typed.

IX. Configuring-
Clicking on "Preferences" will present you with several options that affect the way the program runs. Here is a summary of what you are given:

General-

Maximum number of items to keep in history folder: How many files you want the program to keep in your history folder. (Maximum 99)

Start When Windows Starts: Check this if you want the program to run every time you log into Windows.

Start Minimized: Check this if you want the program to start minimized.

Put Icon in tray for easy access: This option will allow App Runner to place an icon in the system tray so that it can be accessed easier.

Minimize On Success: If this item is checked, App Runner will automatically minimize itself after opening a document.

Save history to file: If you want to store what you type to a file on your hard drive, check this box. Note that you must also specify a location for the file in the text box below it.

Window Size-

These three options determine the size of your document's windows when they are opened.

Normal (default): All windows opened are shown normal size.

Maximized: All windows opened are shown maximized.

Minimized: All windows opened are shown minimized.

Other Options-

Prompt on Log Off - Check this if you want App Runner to prompt you on Log Off.
Prompt on Restart - Check this if you want App Runner to prompt you on Restart.
Prompt on Shutdown - Check this if you want App Runner to prompt you on Shutdown.

X. Bugs-
Although I try to squish every bug I find, there are a few that I am working on. The following bugs are known and should not be reported.

1. App Runner cannot open *.lnk files that point to Dialup Connections, items in the control panel, or printers. (Will give you an error saying that access was denied)
