Thank you for your interest in Registry Toolkit!

The program is compatible with Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000.

To install Registry Toolkit, follow the instructions below
for your computer platform.

You can also download a self-installing version from our web site,
http://www.funduc.com. The self-install version will install the
program into the directory of your choice and provide an uninstall
feature.

Installation:
-------------

1 - Unzip the archive into the subdirectory of your choice.
We suggest using
     c:\tools\RegTkt
although any subdirectory will do.

2 - If you would like to enable the Explorer shell extensions you
will need to merge rtext.reg into the Windows registry. If you used
c:\tools\RegTkt as the subdirectory in step 1, rtext.reg may be merged as
is. To do this, open an Explorer view of c:\tools\RegTkt, right click
on rtext.reg, and select "Merge".

If you used another subdirectory or path in step 1, you will need
to edit rtext.reg it can be merged. Open rtext.reg with a text
editor such as notepad.exe and adjust all lines containing the
string
     C:\\tools\\RegTkt\\
to the subdirectory you installed the program into. Note that you
must double the \ characters. For example, if you used the
subdirectory d:\funduc\RegTkt you would replace all instances of
C:\\tools\\RegTkt\\ with d:\\funduc\\RegTkt\\. Once you have finished
editing rtext.reg, merge it into the registry.

3 - Create a shortcut to regtkt.exe

That's it.

Uninstall
---------

Delete the subdirectory and shortcut you created above.
