Version 5.0 Major upgrade to 32-bit version of AOLTIME utility specifically
designed to work with AOL* for Windows 95. Similar features
found in the previous 16-bit version, plus a .DLL file and new
                  updated .HLP file.

Version 4.0.3 Minor maintenance release designed to work with changes in
                   the way AOL now operates.
LAST official 16-bit version of AOLTIME to be released.

          Common Features:
Designed to work with all known releases, both domestic and
                 international, of AOL* (6.0, 5.0. 4.0, ... etc.).

This program will display the total connect time used
(while connected to the AOL* service via modem or network) in
the menu line of the WAOL.EXE program.

The time keeping has been changed to reflect the methods
currently used by AOL* in their billing practices. The connect
times are rounded-up as defined in the AOL* "Billing Policy".
The time also corresponds to the new logoff dialog time message.
The connect time now only counts when in a "pay" areas, and
halts when the user enters a "free" area. The time display
shows a "$" in the "pay" areas, and a "#" in the "free" areas.
A new Help file (AOLTIME.HLP) and readme file (README.TXT)
                 are included in this release.

AOLTIME requires the user to reset the total connect time
counter every now and then (every month for example, when
you get your bill). It may even ask you for a path to the
directory where WAOL.EXE is found. But after that, it's
                 a snap.

Just invoke this utility instead of the AOL* application
in the appropriate group you already have in Task Bar Start
button, and when you start AOLTIME, the AOL* for Windows
                 95 program will start automatically.

===> And best of all, AOLTIME is FREE!!! <===

                 INSTALLATION AND SETUP INFORMATION
                 ----------------------------------

Just copy the files AOLTIME.EXE, AOLTIMEH.DLL, and
AOLTIME.HLP to the AOL* directory (probably C:\AOL60).

(NOTE: If you're UPGRADING from any previous version
keep your current copy of AOLTIME.INI, it has your
                  total time up to now.)

If you like, change the Task Bar Start entry to
use AOLTIME.EXE instead of WAOL.EXE (optional).

That's it. Start AOLTIME.EXE, and AOL* will start
                 automatically!

Now enjoy AOL* just like before, but now with the "Total
                 Time' display.

If you need any more help just select "Help" from the
AOLTIME menu item (located in the AOLTIME menu bar, NOT
the WAOL.EXE menu bar). The "Options" menu item is also
located in the AOLTIME menu bar, NOT the WAOL.EXE menu.

NOTE: AOLTIME normally runs as an icon on the Windows
Task Bar. To see the "Options" and "Help" menu items,
just click on the "Total Time" display in the WAOL.EXE
menu bar. AOLTIME will open up to reveal its menu
items. Once again, don't look for these items in the
WAOL.EXE menu bar, they're in the AOLTIME menu.
