                                  DECRYPT

The following files are included in this ZIP:

CRYPT.WP Internet Mail on Finding WordPerfect Passwords
DECRYPT.BAS Source code for Turbo Basic program
DECRYPT.EXE Program to find the password of an encrypted
WordPerfect file that has been passworded.
      README.1ST This file

The program accepts a file name at the command line.
If no file name is given, it prompts for a file name. At this point,
you can enter ? for help.

The program trys all key lengths from 1-23, the maximum that WordPerfect
accepts. If it can find half or more of the letters in an attempt, it
shows you what it has decyphered. PASSWO?D might be a result where the ?
was not decyphered. It finds all passwords of less than 14 letters and,
as a practical matter, it finds all passwords.
