   Release Limitations
   -------------------
   - Version 1.4.1 or higher does not support MicroChannel cards.

   Software Requirements
   ---------------------
   - AIX Version 4.1.4 or higher
   - On SMP systems, it is suggested to install the following AIX APAR fix.
     -- IX80012, PTF U456091
   - If using the "Streams Interface," install the following AIX PTFs:
     -- U444932 for AIX V4.1.4
     -- U446640, U443952, IX79463 and IX85706 for AIX V4.2
     -- IX85705 for AIX4.3

   Storage Requirements
   --------------------
   System Unit
   - fileset devices.artic960.rte
       /usr/lpp/devices.artic960 filesystem needs 2.4 MB
       /usr/lib filesystem needs 1.1 MB
   - fileset devices.artic960add.rte
       /usr/lpp filesystem needs 0.2 MB
       /usr/lib filesystem needs 0.4 MB

   On-Card
Approximately 900 KB of on-card memory space is required to load the
kernel and the supplied subsystem files onto the adapter. This
estimate assumes the use of configuration defaults with ric_oss.rel
and ric_ess.rel. Depending on your particular configuration, the
900 KB estimate may increase or decrease.

In addition to the on-card storage stated, you must also have sufficient
memory space available on the adapter to run your application.
