1. Welcome
==========

Duplex Original is a desktop tool for making and using online translation glossaries. Up to 20 plain-text translation glossaries are always on call for instant consultation and transfer into any word-processor, spreadsheet or database application using any version of Windows above 3.1. Terms can be added or deleted on the fly, and you can create new termlists as you go. Duplex Original can even read your own existing plain-text terminology files with little adaptation. Four tiers of online help are available throughout. Duplex Original is for linguists, writers, librarians, lawyers, accountants, in fact anyone needing to hold, translate and transfer pieces of information bidirectionally in two codes.
