webinst.zip WebMail: Web access to corporate e-mail box

WebMail provides access to LAN-based e-mail systems from the World Wide
Web. Unlike other remote access solutions, WebMail does not require any
proprietary dial-in software nor forwarding of mail to a special address
while you're on the road. Now, remote offices, employees who travel or
work from home, vendors, clients, and others who need access to your
e-mail system can use a single remote solution. All that's required is a
supported browser and access to the World Wide Web. WebMail features an
e-mail independent database access API. This allows the product to
support a wide variety of e-mail applications and protocols. WebMail is
also platform independent, so any machine with access to the World Wide
Web can become a part of your LAN e-mail system. WebMail reduces remote
e-mail access costs and simplifies e-mail management for remote sites.
Remote offices and customer sites that are linked via a local call to the
Internet can enjoy e-mail connectivity that previously required long
distance phone calls. Support of remote e-mail users is simplified
because e-mail access is identical from any location.

Special requirements: None.
