Pink Mouse's Image Organiser V2.0 for Windows 95/98/NT
------------------------------------------------------
This program creates high quality thumbnails from several popular image
file formats, and allows you to copy, move, rename, delete and comment the
images. It features a HTML Wizard for generating web pages, shortcuts to
favourite folders, multiple browser windows, image finders, animation
window, and image basket for gathering images to work on while browsing.

IMPORTANT
---------
If you have been using a previous version of PMIO, you should NOT
uninstall it before installing this version, but you should install it in
the SAME folder so that the new version replaces the old one. PMIO is
designed to use existing preferences and memos, which uninstallation would
delete. Also, once you have run this version, old versions will not work
properly anymore.

Installation
------------

  Using WinZip
  ------------
  1. From the WinZip window, double-click the file Setup.exe or click
the 'Install' button (if present). This will run the installation
     program.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
  3. Close WinZip.

Using other zip software (eg: PKUNZIP)
  --------------------------------------
  1. Extract the files from the zip archive into a temporary folder.
  2. Run the file Setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Delete the temporary folder.

NOTE: Previous versions of PMIO failed to install when they were
unzipped with DOS-based PKUNZIP software. This was due to long
filenames in the zip file, and has now been corrected.

Please read the file ReleaseNotes.rtf (use Wordpad or Microsoft Word).
Read the online help to get the most from the program.

Uninstallation
--------------
To uninstall the software, open Windows Control Panel and double-click
"Add/Remove Programs". Then find the software in the list, select it and
click "Add/Remove" to run the uninstaller. Please note that the
uninstallation will delete all image memos that were created with the
program, but it will not delete any browse files. You can locate all
'*.pmio' files using the Find Files command in the Start Menu, and delete
them from there. Uninstallation will also leave behind the PMIO folder,
registration key file, and HTML template, which you may want to keep.

If you find any bugs or problems not already mentioned in the release
notes, please email the author at john.croudy@nic.fi

Thank you for trying Pink Mouse's Image Organiser.
