In a message to Mr. Padden you stated, "Will yank both FD, put in
a 3.5", run SetBPB35.exe and install the HD..."

Question: What is SetBPB35.exe?

Just curious.

Phil

Setbpb35.exe is a driver that you install in the autoexec.bat
that will let the Bios on older XT's recognize a 3.5" F.D. as 720
k.
Without it, the computer "thinks" the drive is a 360 k drive and
will format as such. You can read 720 k (most of the time), but
it is better to install this driver.
I believe that I found it in this forum, but will go looking for
it and get back to you if you are interested.
Respond via mail as I don't sign into this forum unless I am
trying to fix an older Tandy and need info...

Found the file in this forum, but they have it well hidden...
Do a file search using 720k as the search parameter.
The file is inther there twice-dated 10/5/88 and 10/22/89.
This is a great utility, sorry to see that it is so well
hidden... {g}
