* Windows 3.1 SVGA Drivers for OMNI-II (S3, Version 2.4)

These drivers enable the user to run Windows version 3.1 under
the S3 86C805 video controller's Super VGA screen modes. These 
drivers are for OMNI Profile II computers.

In order to obtain a printout of this README.TXT file, insert this
disk in Drive A, make sure your printer is switched on, is on line,
and at the C:\> prompt, type the following command--

   PRINT A:README.TXT

and press <Enter>.


INSTALLATION

1.  Start up your computer.

2.  Insert this diskette in Drive A.

3.  At the C:\> prompt, type in

       CD \WINDOWS
    
    and press <Enter>.

4.  At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt, type in 

       SETUP

    and press <Enter>. A current Windows configuration screen is
    displayed.

5.  Move the highlighted selection bar to the Display entry by
    pressing the UP or DOWN Arrow key and then press <Enter>. 
    A screen which lists the available display adapters will be 
    displayed.

6.  Move the highlighted bar to the entry marked "Other (Requires 
    disk provided by a hardware manufacturer)" and press <Enter>.

7.  At the prompt to enter the drive where the drivers are located, 
    type in--

       A:\

    and press <Enter>.

8.  Select the desired screen resolution and press <Enter>. The files
    from the drivers diskette will be copied to the Windows directory.

9.  When the installation of the drivers is complete, the C:\WINDOWS>
    prompt will be displayed.
